INTERIORS — RESIDENTIAL
A full interior transformation for a 1990s apartment
The Story
he apartment had good bones — generous room proportions, cross-ventilation, and a south-facing balcony — but thirty years of incremental changes had buried them. Our first act was demolition: false ceilings, wall cladding, and heavy curtain pelmets were removed to expose the original concrete structure.
The new design centres on a neutral palette of white walls, pale grey terrazzo, and natural linen. Furniture is low and minimal, allowing the rooms to breathe. A custom walnut bookcase runs the full length of the living room, anchoring the space.
The kitchen was reconfigured as an open plan, connected to the dining area through a wide portal framed in white oak. Every light fixture is warm-toned and dimmable — the apartment transforms from bright and airy by day to intimate and golden by evening.
The project was completed in four months, with our team managing every trade from demolition to final styling.

The Transformation
The original living room had heavy false ceilings and dated cladding. Stripping back to the structure revealed the original concrete and added 14 inches of head-height.
