The Story
A practice shaped by thework we wanted to do.
We chose the name from the Latin genius loci — the spirit of a place.
It is what every great building has, and what mediocre ones lack: a feeling that the architecture belongs to where it stands.
Bhuvan Gupta and Arzoo Gupta lead every project personally.
We work small by design — so we can work close. No project is delegated past the people whose names are on the door.
A Note on the Name
“We don't have a house style. We have a method — listen first, draw second, build slowly. The place writes the brief, and we translate it.”

Our Journey

- 2020— Foundation
The studio is founded in Meerut.
Bhuvan and Arzoo Gupta sign the partnership deed and open the studio's first room — A-1, Jawahar Quarters.
- 2021— First Commission
First architectural project completed.
A small residence in Meerut — fully designed, built, and handed over by the studio's own team.
- 2022— Construction Practice
Turnkey construction added.
What started as design oversight grew into a full construction practice — site team, vendor management, material procurement, all in-house.
- 2024— Vastu Practice
Vastu consultation formalised.
Vastu — long part of our process — becomes a formal standalone offering, available to other studios and direct clients alike.
- Tomorrow— Onward

The Studio in Residence
Our room ofone's own.
Every studio is a room. Ours is on the first floor of A-1, Jawahar Quarters, in the Begum Bridge neighbourhood of Meerut. Drawings on the wall. Material samples on the table. The smell of fresh paper. Plants by the window. The slow work of the studio happens here.
